Brief biography:
The expert midfielder was a prominent protagonist in the history of Calcio Catania , from 2011 to 2020, signing prestigious pages in the club's most recent era in Serie A and subsequently choosing to make his debut in Serie C, at the age of 33, to return to wearing the shirt that he called his "second skin" . To his credit, in the Rossozzurri shirt, 206 appearances in official professional competitions, with 50 goals and 44 assists. At the start of his career, Lodi graduated as European champion with the Italy Under 19 team and completed the entire process in the national youth teams , starting from the Under 15 and reaching the Under 21. With Empoli, he won a promotion to Serie A in 2002 and made his debut in A, a category in which he also expressed himself with Udinese, Genoa and Parma. He also played in B, with Vicenza and Frosinone, in C with Triestina and in D, with Messina Football Club and Acireale.
