At the end of an intense and extremely demanding match, Catania Women left the pitch to warm applause from the approximately 150 spectators in attendance at the “Orazio Raiti” Stadium. Against Bologna, who had opened their season with a 4-0 victory over Genoa, Silvestro Reitano’s Rossazzurre earned their first point of the Serie B campaign.
The goalless draw was the result of a performance marked by great and unwavering concentration throughout the entire match. Catania consistently showed their ability to contain one of the strongest teams in the league, while also producing some promising attacking play during the first half of the second period.
