Catania Football Club announces that it has acquired the sporting rights of Filippo Rinaldi from Parma Calcio 1913 on loan, with an option to buy and a counter-option.
Rinaldi was born in Montecchio Emilia, in the province of Reggio Emilia, on 4 December 2002.
Having developed in Parma’s youth academy, he made his Serie A debut for the Gialloblù as a starter on 14 January 2026. Against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, the goalkeeper kept a clean sheet and was named Player of the Match.
Starting with the Under-17 side, Rinaldi progressed through Italy’s youth national teams and made two appearances for the Italy Under-21 team in 2024.
In Serie C, Catania’s newest Rossazzurri player has represented Aquila Montevarchi, Piacenza, Olbia and Feralpisalò, recording a total of 93 appearances and 24 clean sheets.
Welcome, Filippo!
