Appointment in favor of the environment on the 37th matchday
Florence, April 17, 2025. Serie C NOW goes green on the occasion of the 37th matchday
of the championship, turning green to celebrate Earth Day, which occurs
every April 22.
Sustainability in general, at the center of the Lega Pro agenda and the UEFA Strategy for
football sustainability, is an important theme for the Serie C world, which wanted to dedicate
an entire round of the regular season in its hottest phase to the topic, in an ecological key.
A new Serie C NOW logo will become the patch – produced with sustainable materials and
very low emissions -, specifically green, that will color the captains' jerseys on the penultimate
matchday, destined to become collectible memorabilia that enthusiasts and fans can
acquire at auction for charitable purposes on CharityStars, in support of the Meyer Foundation.
The same logo, in the form of a sticker developed with a front made of recycled natural fiber
paper, will enter the press rooms during coaches' interviews, while
a dedicated social campaign will come to life. On all fields, the initiative's claim "Center of the Earth" will arrive thanks to the sideline LED lights, accompanied by
a dedicated speaker message.
