After the fourth consecutive away victory, coach Toscano analyzed Catania's performance in the press room: "Even in the first half, in my opinion, we played a good game. We thought Cavese would start strong, and that's why we chose Frisenna, who managed to cover more of the field. We had a couple of situations where if we had made the right choice at the right time, with the disallowed goals and Inglese's shot, we could have unlocked the result already in the first half. Due to the booking and because we needed to add some different characteristics in terms of quality, we made the substitution with Jiménez, who came on well and made an impact. I believe the whole team did well in the second half; then in the last 7-8 minutes, with Allegretto having stitches in his head and Celli with cramps, it's understandable to concede something to a healthy, organized team with legs and engine: sometimes things didn't go our way, today they did, it's understandable to take risks in the last minutes given the conditions we were in. I still have to congratulate the guys, who did well to come and win here on a difficult field, against a team that wanted and still wants to enter the playoffs and has shown its value and dynamism in recent weeks. We were ready to face them and we faced them in the right way, with our characteristics. I believe the victory is deserved.
