Catania's under 15 team ends 2024 on a high note by winning the first international trophy "Maurizio Zamparini," organized by ASD Sport Palermo at the "Pietro Pisani" sports center. The head of the youth sector, Orazio Russo, observes: "It was truly a great sports festival, and we thank the clubs with which we shared this beautiful experience, particularly Calcio Sicilia, which gave us a splendid welcome at its facility. I am sure that this high-level event will have growing success in the coming years. The final with Palermo was very exciting and highlighted our growth; we faced for the first time a team that participates in the Under 15 championship reserved for Serie A and Serie B clubs, and beyond the final victory, we are satisfied with the individual progress of the boys coached by Umberto Fabiano and the overall quality of their performances."
