Donating blood can save a life

Catania Football Club and the Health Department of the Sicilian Region invite all fans to donate blood, performing a fundamental act of solidarity.
With us today, to emphasize the social importance of blood and plasma collection, Her Excellency the Prefect of Catania, Dr. Maria Carmela Librizzi; the Chief of Police of Catania, Dr. Giuseppe Bellassai; the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri, Colonel Salvatore Altavilla, and Lieutenant Colonel Luigi Leuzzi representing the Guardia di Finanza.
Our vice president and CEO Vincenzo Grella thanks the Authorities present and ARNAS Garibaldi for the fruitful collaboration. 
Donating blood can save a life, it is used to produce medicines for various free and life-saving therapies, and it is also a way to keep one's health in check.
