With Official Communication 11/CIT, today, the Italian Professional Football League has announced the schedule for the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia Serie C 2024/2025: Tuesday, 26th November at 8:30 PM, at the “Massimino”, Catania-Trapani. At stake, access to the quarter-finals scheduled for Wednesday, 18th December at 8:30 PM on the field of the winner of the Perugia-Arezzo match.
Procedure
The Round of 16 is played in a single match with direct elimination. The teams that will have scored the most goals will qualify for the next round.
In case of a tie in the number of goals scored at the end of the match, two extra halves of 15 minutes each will be played.
If the tie persists even at the end of the two extra halves, the referee will proceed with penalty shootouts, following the procedures outlined in the “Laws of the Game of Football”.
