On the occasion of the competitions scheduled at the "Angelo Massimino" stadium and at the municipal sports field of Nesima in the 2024/2025 sports season, Catania Football Club is looking for and selecting stewards to carry out ticket control operations and oversee the stands, the necessary activities during the event according to current regulations, the verification of compliance with the facility's rules of use, and the management of spectator inflow and outflow.
Applications from subjects already qualified will be evaluated and, at the same time, for selected individuals who are not yet qualified, training courses will be organized with a two-week mandatory attendance.
Interested candidates, with a photocopy of a valid identity document, tax code, and curriculum vitae, can come to the "Angelo Massimino" stadium (Entrance Tribuna A) on Tuesday 2, Wednesday 3, and Thursday 4 July, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Below are some of the main requirements for access to the selection, detailed in Annex A to the decree of the Ministry of the Interior dated August 13, 2019, amending the decree of August 8, 2007, concerning "Organization and service of stewards at sports facilities”(Gu-197-20019.pdf (interno.gov.it):
- aged between 18 and 60;
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union State with adequate knowledge of the Italian language, or citizenship of non-EU countries or stateless persons, in possession of a valid residence permit and with adequate knowledge of the Italian language;
- good physical and mental health;
- no alcohol or drug use;
- no psychopathological elements, even in the past;
- adequate physical fitness for the tasks to be performed;
- lower secondary school diploma;
- no criminal record, not being or having been a member of movements, associations or organized groups inciting hatred as per the decree-law of April 26, 1993, no. 122, converted, with amendments, by Law June 25, 1993, no. 205;
- never having been subject to a stadium banning order (DASPO);
- ability to concentrate, self-control, and interact with the public;
- aptitude to perform the tasks specified in the decree and in particular to identify possible security risks also in the behavior of the individuals present in the sports facility area.
Catania Football Club reserves the right to verify the full compliance with the requirements stipulated by the aforementioned regulation, requesting from each selected candidate the relevant suitable documentation.
