On the occasion of the matches scheduled at the "Angelo Massimino" stadium and at the municipal sports field of Nesima in the 2024/2025 sports season, Catania Football Club is looking for and selecting stewards to carry out the operations of checking access passes and stands, necessary activities during the event in accordance with current regulations, verification of compliance with the facility's rules of use, and management of routing, influx, and outflow of spectators.
Applications from individuals already qualified will be evaluated, and at the same time, for selected individuals not yet holding the qualification, training courses will be provided with mandatory attendance for a duration of two weeks.
Interested candidates, equipped with a photocopy of a valid identity document, tax code, and resume, may present themselves at the "Angelo Massimino" stadium (Tribuna A entrance) on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26, and Thursday 27 June, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
Below are some of the main requirements for access to the selection, detailed in Annex A to the decree of the Ministry of the Interior of 13 August 2019 amending the decree of 8 August 2007, concerning "Organization and service of stewards in sports facilities" (Gu-197-20019.pdf (interno.gov.it):
- age between 18 and 60 years;
- Italian citizenship or citizenship of another European Union State with adequate knowledge of the Italian language, or citizenship of non-EU States or stateless persons, holding a valid residence permit and with adequate knowledge of the Italian language;
- good physical and mental health;
- no use of alcohol and drugs;
- absence of psychopathological elements, even in the past;
- physical fitness adequate for the tasks to be performed;
- lower secondary school diploma;
- no criminal record, not being a member or having been a member of movements, associations or organized groups inciting hatred as per the decree-law of 26 April 1993, no. 122, converted, with amendments, by Law 25 June 1993, no. 205;
- never having been subjected to a stadium ban;
- ability to concentrate, self-control, and contact with the public;
- willingness to perform the tasks specified by the decree and, in particular, to identify possible security risks, including in the behavior of individuals present in the sports facility area.
Catania Football Club reserves the right to verify the full compliance with the requirements set out in the aforementioned regulatory reference, requesting from each of the selected profiles the relevant appropriate documentation.
