At the invitation of Claudio Corbino, President and founder of the "Diplomats" association, our Vice President and CEO Vincenzo Grella attended yesterday, at the prestigious international training center in Catania, the conference "Youth and Sports: which values for education and inclusivity?".
Among the speakers were also the Mayor of Catania, Enrico Trantino, and Marco Tardelli, the World Cup champion in 1982 and now Goodwill Ambassador of the CWMUN (Change the World Model United Nations).
The Vice President and CEO of Catania, Vincenzo Grella, stated: "By displaying here the Serie C Italian Cup that we have just won, we wanted to pay tribute to these brilliant young people and at the same time express a deep conviction: the successes and progress of a club are important for the territory, and society has the duty to support the development of the best initiatives, because football is an important part of this community's life".
Claudio Corbino emphasizes: "I am extremely happy about this meeting of our young people, many of whom have just returned from the experience in New York and at the United Nations, with Marco Tardelli and Vincenzo Grella. Diplomats have always believed that sports are the best vehicle to reach the hearts of young people and make them passionate about the great values that sports and football represent: I believe that Catania can play, also for this reason, a fundamental role for our city".
