Diego Peralta from Foggia to Catania

Catania Football Club announces that it has definitively acquired from Calcio Foggia the right to the sporting performances of the player Diego Peralta, born in Livorno on 27 September 1996. From the beginning of last season which ended with the Serie C playoff final to the first part of tournament underway, the twenty-seven year old, capable of covering multiple roles between midfield and attack, has collected 68 appearances with the Apulian team enhanced by 8 goals and 13 assists. Previously, Peralta spent two years with Ternana, playing 48 games and scoring 9 goals under coach Lucarelli: with the Umbrians he won the Serie C championship and the category Super Cup. Raised in Fiorentina's youth sector, he made his professional debut with Pisa in 2015/16, winning promotion to Serie B with his teammates through the playoffs. Among the cadets, adding the years with the Nerazzurri and the Rossoverdi, he played a total of 50 matches. He also has a Spanish stint with Extremadura and further experiences in Serie C with Novara and Olbia. The new Rossazzurro is linked to our club until 30 June 2026.
