With Official Press Release 6/CIT, today, the Italian Professional Football League defined the dates and times of the matches valid for the second qualifying round of the 2023/24 Italian Serie C Cup: Wednesday 8 November, at 8.45pm, scheduled for Catania-Picerno. Procedure The Second Eliminatory Round takes place in a single direct elimination match. The clubs that have scored the highest number of goals will qualify for the next round.
In the event of a tie in the number of goals scored at the end of the match, two extra periods lasting 15 minutes each will be played.
If the tie persists even at the end of the two extra periods, the referee will proceed to have the penalty shots taken, in the manner provided for by the "Football Regulations".
