Chiricó: “All we needed was the goal”

Mino Chiricó was among the best of the red and blues tonight, also hitting the crossbar. In the press box, the offensive winger observes: “What didn't work? All we lacked was a goal, we did things that few expected, after a month and a half of work in training camp. Against a strong and well-placed team, we played a great match. Already from the warm-up you could feel the warmth of the people, we were ready and it was really nice. The wood? Bad luck, maybe the next one will come in. We must move forward with serenity, given today's play: we will still aim high, even if we find organized teams and it will be tough. We must improve but maintain the same spirit as today."
