Catania Football Club announces that it has acquired the right to the sports performance of the footballer Michele Rocca, born in Milan on February 6, 1996.
Raised in Inter's youth sector from 2006 to 2015 (with a two-year spell in Novara), he won the prestigious Viareggio tournament in 2015 for the nerazzurri; to his credit also a brace, on his debut, against Genk. With Italy Under 20, he won the Four Nations Tournament in 2015/16, scoring in Poland during the decisive match. He made his Serie A debut on 28 September 2015 with the Sampdoria shirt, playing for Atalanta. In Serie B, he subsequently wore the jerseys of Virtus Lanciano, Latina, Pro Vercelli and Livorno. In Serie C, Rocca enjoyed four seasons always gaining access to the playoffs: in 2018 with Feralpisalò, in 2021 and 2022 with Foggia, in 2023 with Novara. He counts a total of 190 appearances and 17 goals in official professional competitions.
