Ciao Siniša

Siniša Mihajlović is no longer with us but will always be in us, who will still love his example of boundless courage, profound humanity, healthy enthusiasm, pure love for football, for as long as we remember and live.

He arrived in Catania in December 2009, a feat was asked of him: to revive the fate of the last in the standings, of the most serious candidate for relegation.

And it was "Miracolovic": early salvation and exciting victories, on the Juventus field and at the Olimpico against Lazio, then on March 12, 2010 in a comeback in the rain against Inter in the Treble and in the derby with Palermo. His charisma was the first strength of that Catania.

Catania will still love you, mister, and we will always thank you for having lived such epic moments.

Catania SSD extends its sincere condolences to the Mihajlović family and announces that it has requested the authorization to put mourning on the arm on the shirts of the first team players and to observe a minute's silence before the Catania-Trapani kick-off, to remember a great man and coach in the stadium where he starred.
